While I can’t offer you advice in choosing an exam review course, I did want to share one point of clarification: if you are applying for reinstatement only 2½ years since your certification expired, you can apply for reinstatement without re-taking the CFP(R) exam. The CFP(R) exam becomes a requirement of reinstatement only after five years or more from the date of certification expiration.
